Hilliard and Harris is a small press in Maryland that specializes in mystery

team of Stephanie and Shawn Reilly, Hilliard and Harris publishes books in
hardcover and trade paper formats. They have over 60 authors on their roster of
releases. They're interested in seeing mystery novels, particularly series
mystery. They're also interested in thrillers, science fiction, horror and
historical fiction, as well as mystery, fantasy, science fiction and historical
fiction for children ages 8 to young adult. Stephanie and Shawn were interviewed
by Fran Silverman on her Book Marketing with Fran Radio Show on Achieve Radio.

A note from your web editor…Hilliard and Harris are listed on Preditors and Editors as ‘poor contract, not recommended’.  I have not found any negative notes elsewhere, and Publisher’s Weekly lists them as an up and coming new publisher.  But do look carefully at your contract if they accept your manuscript.
