Women’s World Fiction:  Romance and Mystery

 

Romance:

 

1100 words, must revolve around compelling, true to life relationship dilemmas, featuring either a female or male protagonist, in either first or third person.  Down to earth characters, married, single, divorced, or widowed, are fine. 

 

$1000 per romance for First NA Serial Rights for 6 months after publication. 

 

 

Mini Mystery:

 

Solve it yourself mysteries of 1000 words, including the narrative and the solution.  Stories should be cleverly plotted, entertaining cliffhangers that end with a challenge to the reader to figure out whodunit or howdunnit.  The solution to the mystery is provided in a separate box.  Spare the readers any gory details or excessive violence.  No ghost stories, SF or fantasy.  

 

$500 per mystery for  First NA Serial Rights for 6 months after publication.
